Call For Papers

April 1 – 4, 2019, Jerusalem, Israel


The .2019 Meeting of the European Public Choice Society will take place from April 1st to April 4th, 2019, at the Mount Scopus campus of the Department of Economics of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Israel. The European Public Choice Society promotes scientific research on the economics and politics of public and non-market decision-making, political economy and the economics of institutions. About 250 researchers from different fields such as economics, political science and other social sciences meet annually to discuss the current issues in all fields of Public Choice.

Submission of Papers

Both empirical and theoretical papers will be considered. Please submit full papers via EasyChair starting from September 1, 2018. The deadline for submission is November 30, 2018. Decisions will be made by January 15, 2019.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the Mount Scopus campus of the Department of Economics of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Israel. The campus is well connected with the city center via buses and from Israel's international airport via trains and shuttles.

The Wicksell Prize

Each year the EPCS awards the Wicksell Prize, in honor of the Swedish economist Johan Gustaf Knut Wicksell, to the best paper presented at the annual meeting by a “young” researcher. To qualify for the prize, the presenter of the paper as well as all co-authors must be under 30 years of age as of December .31, 2018.
